* learned my salary this year through a text message from my boss. i received a considerable raise. seriously, it was a twilight zone moment. my job has never been about the money for me; but then i realized it wouldn't hurt to earn a living as well. i thank God that i'm not just a rodent running in this rat race of a world, i actually love my work and everyone in it! :)

hm. btw, i never got into the habit of asking about other people's paychecks. it's just plain awkward. unless everyone's ranting of their pay, there's no point of it being a conversation material. somebody ends up appearing as a pompous ass, and most feel dejected at the end.

let's try ruffa and johnlloyd as chika material instead. uuugh!

* it amuses me that friends and family find me and myboyfriendof3years, JC, already marriage material. a couple of co-workers reckoned that our wedding would be very much ala fete de la musique, given that both of us are musicians. a friend who loves food wanted me to have a buffet reception. a kid in church asked "ate, mag-asawa na ba kayo ni kuyaaa?" i don't know what aura we are sending out to the world, and it's always a compliment, but y'know. hold your horses guys. haha.

he and i talk about it, but right off the bat, we said that we'd take our relationship one day at a time. God has plans for everything, and we trust Him completely. e syempre ang sarap magkilig-kiligan, but we're at the point of our lives that wedding talk isn't just about whimsical ideas anymore... pag-usapan na lang kung keri na talaga.

pero tambay ako sa dito. hahahaha. *um. assumera!

* kaya ko nga kaya talaga ang 7:30am na time-in? hay Lord help me. this is the morning sked i'm plotting: 5am rise and shine and morning devotion, 5:15-5:45 work-out, then ligo etc na after. i want to leave the house at 7 kung hatid and 6:45 kung commute.

aja i can do this!!! (pero dapat tulog na 'ko as in now na. ano ba!)

* i feel like i look like pong pagong. the head... the guhit guhit sa leeg... pero sige na nga. at least di pa kiko matsing.
