On being a mac user

bilang isang halimaw ng kahit anong tech-ridden na bagay (sabi nga ni jai, tatabihan ko pa lang ang gadget, nasira ko na), hindi ko inakalang mamahalin ko si beebee mac ng ganito.

after my beloved pinku was stolen last may (God rest her soul), i knew i had to buy a new computer for my thesis and explo work. my pragmatic-sentimental side kept on saying that i can just get another neo notebook in memory of pinku: it was working well for me anyway, it was affordable, and it was pink. DOH. but jeb insisted that if i really wanted to get my money's worth and make my life easier, i should get a mac. and so, even if i knew that my shoe-shopping-powers will be disabled considerably for months, i listened to my knowledgeable jeb and bought beebee that rainy June day.

it's been 3 months and i'm still falling in ♥love♥ with it everyday.

i was scared of the PC-to-mac crossover but i found out that it was the smartest move for a techie-bobo like me. why?
* i can't get over how user-friendly and convenient the whole interface is. (speaking in tongues?)
* the keyboard is ergonomic.
* downloading applications is very easy; and oh how i love my widgets. (walang pakialamanan ng dashboard!)
* making videos, collating pictures, and writing newsletters are imperative for my explo work and it's a breeze with iLife and iWork.
*downloading youtube vids in safari is a cinch; and anything on beebee (pics, movies, documents) looks very very pretty on the bigbrightscreen. (hello techie-bobo nga, don't expect anything deeper than this. hahaha.)
* also, though i find leopard a-ok for me now, kuya AG will share his snow leopard with jeb and me so i'd have a faster, sleeker OS soon! wahu!
